(14 de febrero de 2017) - El lunes 27 de febrero, The Outlet Collection en Riverwalk®, un desarrollo de The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC), volverá a celebrar el Carnaval con Lundi Gras en el Mississippi. El evento público contará con música en vivo, fuegos artificiales, vendedores de comida local y la llegada oficial de Rex, Rey del Carnaval, a las festividades de Mardi Gras. Continuando con la tradición del año pasado, Rex y su séquito llegarán al Spanish Plaza de Riverwalk a bordo de vagones de ferrocarril antiguos elegantemente decorados.

El evento de este año presenta tres bandas legendarias de Nueva Orleans: King James & the Special Men, Big Sam's Funky Nation con Big Chief Monk Boudreaux y Cowboy Mouth. Después del concierto, Rex llegará a la entrada de Poydras Street de Riverwalk.

Parking Information for Local and National Media
Media visiting Riverwalk's Spanish Plaza during 2017 Lundi Gras on the Mississippi may park their satellite vehicle in a designated area on the Canal St. Lower Wharf. Access to the lower wharf will be granted by a stationed security guard on the day of the event. Only one vehicle will be permitted on the wharf per station. All credentialed media must pick up an access pass for the Canal St. Lower Wharf no later than Friday, February 24 at The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk Management Office (Level B - next to Kay Jewelers Outlet). Please call Laura Gurievsky at 504-256-7169 to pick up your access pass in advance and to access the wharf on the day of the event.
